The Bureau of Treasury invites Overseas Filipinos to a Financial Literacy Session on Retail Treasury Bonds (RTBs). 

RTBs are debt securities issued by the Philippine government through the Bureau of Treasury and form part of a program to make government securities available to retail investors, especially private individuals.

The Philippine Consulate is closely monitoring Potential Tropical Cyclone Five, forecast to strengthen into Tropical Storm Edouard and make landfall near the Texas-Louisiana border on Tuesday, 1 September. 

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from Port Bolivar, TX to Vermilion/Cameron Parish, LA. Kababayans in Southwest Louisiana and the Upper Texas Coast, including Houston, should prepare for heavy rain, flooding, and possible power outages.

🔴 Stay updated. Heed local authorities regarding travel and emergency announcements. More information can also be accessed through the City of Houston Office of Emergency Management website (www.houstonoem.org).

Important announcement for the upcoming back-to-back consular outreach missions in Lubbock, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico: 

Kababayans who wish to apply for and/or renew their passports, including those who signed up through the Google Form, are encouraged to secure their appointment slots through passport.gov.ph and choose “PCG Houston - Outreach in Lubbock, Texas” or “PCG Houston - Outreach in Albuquerque, New Mexico” as appropriate. 

Those requiring other consular services (dual citizenship, notary, and civil registry) are advised to send copies of their requirements to houstonpcg.outreach@gmail.com for prior assessment and further guidance.
